Bernadette Baird has enjoyed working with children and
families as a music and movement educator for the past 11 years. She holds a
Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance from Southeastern
studied with the late Jacqueline Cobert. After attending Kindermusik® classes
with her daughter, Bernadette became a Licensed Kindermusik® Educator, teaching
children and families all over Middlesex
County. Her success as an
educator can be seen with the numerous families who enroll siblings in her
program after their first child has attended her class. She currently teaches
at Chelmsford Crossings, Trinity Lutheran Church, Roudenbush Community Center/Westford, Westford Preschool, Lion’s
Den Preschool in Chelmsford, and in the past has taught at Indian Hill Music School Chelmsford Community Center, Billerica and Andover. In all of her
classes, Bernadette stresses the importance of early childhood music and it’s
lasting effects on a child’s development. Bernadette’s enthusiasm and dynamic
personality help to create a classroom experience that children look forward to
I saw my child grow and develop right
before my eyes with each class. Socially as well as using her fine motor
skills. – J.M.
I really enjoy the Kindermusik class and all of the music/dances that we do
during the class. My children really love music and they enjoy the class as
well. Plus, Bernadette Baird is an absolutely wonderful teacher, she's very
engaging, fun, silly, and she gets everyone motivated to sing and move. –J.S.
( From the Intergenerational Class with Seniors in Chelmsford) I am a grandparent of 3 of Miss Bernadette's lucky young participants. One of my favorite activities to tag along to when I visit.
Although I am not a resident yet at one of the senior homes where she holds her music class. I have been one of her 'friends in the chairs' as she calls the seniors as they get to share in the multi purpose room before lunch. I had both of my knees replaced and hope to move to the floor with the patents and kids soon. I had 4 sets of parents who were in similar places and how they would have LOVED to participate in these precious little people's weekly music class there was no Miss Bernadette where they lived. Such a treasure. Don't miss the opportunity to experience this fantastic hour if you're in the neighborhood. - L.D.
